Sara Rosett writes momlit murder mysteries

Next up on the GCC tour is Sara Rosett. Her new novel MOVING IS MURDER is a mom lit mystery about a military spouse who runs a professional organizing business. Our heroine plans ahead, packs efficiently, and even color-codes the boxes. But nothing could prepare her for her new neighborhood… where one of her neighbors commits murder. Added bonus: evidently the novel is packed with helpful moving tips!

Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Sara Rosett is the wife of an Air Force pilot. She and her family have moved TEN times, so you know she's drawing a lot on real life for her book. (Lets just hope not the murder part.) She is currently living in southern California and has two children and two dogs.

Are you a TV watcher?

Yes, I watch some crime shows, like CSI and some reality shows, like Flip This House, Project Runway and Amazing Race.

What's your favorite show ever?

It’s so hard to pick one show. How about my top five favorite shows ever: MASH, Laverne and Shirley, Moonlighting, Remington Steele, and CSI.

What TV character (past or present) do you identify with most?

Wiley Coyote in the Looney Tunes cartoons. He tries so hard, but nothing ever turns out quite the way he expects—story of my life!

Does your main character watch any TV in the novel?

There’s not much TV watching going on in MOVING IS MURDER. In my second book, STAYING HOME IS A KILLER, Ellie watches the news quite a bit and is even caught up in a news story.

Visit Sara at her website for more info.
